It's walk #336 today and we're out in the chilly weather in Carillon. I think it's beautiful. I'd love this sort of weather all year around. Cold enough so you don't sweat, and just the right amount of sunshine to keep you warm.
This cormorant knows how to stay warm on days like these. He shelters himself in the bushes and then spreads his wings to soak up the sun and the warmth. These birds always look like they're ready to give you a hug!
Kelly and Kristin are huddling in and bundling up against the "cold". Its not really that bad, and I think I make a pretty nice windbreak for them.
