November 24, 2010

Today is walk #328.  There are 37 walks left in this first journey.  Its a beautiful day and I'm at McGough Park, walking out on the little pier that juts out over the Intercoastal.  I met an older woman today and she told me that she too walks every day.  She told me that she finds it helps her clear her head, and that she feels not as good without the walk.  I could NOT agree more.
A touch of Fall finally comes at the end of November here in Largo.  The trees starting to turn.
I had to get a little water effect going on the Fall shots.  Love this picture.
The path ahead smells as wonderful as it looks.  The scent of pine and sweet decay make the walk on an entirely different level.
The sign on the boat cover reads "Butch" my nickname.  Just prior to exiting the park, I was talking out loud to my dad and I said "you know... I'm thinking about you.  And if there's some way to give me a sign that you're thinking about me... let me know".  Well, nothing happened while I was in the woods, but the minute I stepped out of the park...  this boat was waiting on me.
The journey continues... but some things are left behind.
