November 19, 2010

For walk #323 I went down to Treasure Island beach behind the Bilmar hotel for the 2010 Sanding Ovations Sand Sculpting exhibition.  It's the kickoff night and there was still enough parking across the street at the Walgreen's.
Neptune, the god of the sea at sunset.
Lovers kissing.  This was about 10 feet tall.
A split personality?  The square cut into the chest has a prison door on it.
A skeleton sits among the innards of a decomposing sea monster, the ribs shedding their skin and rotting away.  Neat concept.  Walk 323 is a rousing success!
